June 10, 2003: Teleroute, the leading European freight and vehicle exchange service has released Confirm, an electronic transaction feature that allows freight forwarders to close and document their transportation orders from their computers.

Confirm is a fax that validates and documents the contents of a freight deal by computer. Once a forwarder has agreed to a deal, he can use Confirm to generate a fax with all the transaction details and, with the click of a button, send it to his contact via computer. The fax template is pre-filled with standard information and is automatically translated into 12 languages. The forwarder saves creation time and fax time while delivering a translated document to his carrier, ensuring an easier understanding of the information. In case there is no answer or the line is busy, Confirm automatically resends the fax multiple times. Every Confirm fax is also stored in the forwarder’s posting history folder on his computer so the documentation remains accessible at all times.
