November 18, 2002: Teleroute, the leading freight and vehicle exchange in Europe has announced the appointment of Luis Griffo to Country Manager for Teleroute Ibérica, the organisation which manages activities both in Spain and Portugal.
|
|
Mr. Griffo will develop and grow Teleroute operations in the Iberian Peninsula and will maintain and further develop its competitive position within this market. Teleroute services have been available in Spain and Portugal for 10 years, but had been run under licensee agreements until Teleroute Ibérica was created earlier this year.

Luis Griffo, 41, brings with him high sales and management experience, specifically in the transport industry from both the Spanish and Portuguese markets. Prior to joining Teleroute, Mr. Griffo was Commercial Director with Redur Transportes, a company engaged in national and international parcel delivery services where he achieved 18% annual growth and doubled sales in 4 years.

Mr. Griffo speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy and Arts from Madrid University, a Master’s degree in Commercial Management from Instituto Empresa and has completed the Executive Development Programme at IESE.
