F² is Teleroute's innovative search engine that increases your chances of finding freight

November 18, 2002:
Teleroute, the leading European on-line freight service has complemented its existing product offerings with the release of the new search engine F². F² is based on a cartographic database whereby a carrier can be offered a slight deviation to the original route and find loads of freight with the click of a button.

Traditionally freight exchange searches are strictly from one region (or a group of regions) to another region (or group of regions). For more than five years Teleroute has been offering a complementary module to the traditional search that draws a static hub between two regions and proposes all offers found inside the hub. Now F² takes the process a step further by expanding the search to explore alternative routes outside a specified region in order to find a freight match.

F² is designed to suggest matches closest to the original route while considering three types of criteria. F² links with a route planner to calculate actual distance of deviation; how recently the offer was published on the Teleroute database and the percent of journey driven loaded.

F² is definitely the most innovative feature introduced by any freight exchange,” says Raimundo Diaz, Teleroute CEO. “For our users, every kilometre and minute counts. With F² they are sure to find a profitable solution to any journey in Europe within seconds. Teleroute is the only company in the market that has the expertise needed to develop such a feature, thanks to over 15 years of experience in freight exchanges, as well as expertise in cartography and route planning dedicated to the world of transport.”

F² is focused on saving time and money. F² is integrated into Teleroute Web. Full details are given with each offer; including a map and the overall distance to be travelled.

F² squares your chances for finding freight.
