Teleroute, Europe’s leading on-line freight and vehicle exchange, has announced a change in its Chief Executive Officer position. François Bourgeois is stepping down from the CEO post he has held since January 2000 to concentrate fully on his role as a member of the Management Team of Wolters Kluwer Legal, Tax and Business Europe (LTB-E). He is being replaced by Raimundo Diaz.

François Bourgeois, 38, (Insead), has been associated with Teleroute’s parent company, Wolters Kluwer since 1996 when he was named Managing Director for Teleroute France. In January 2000 he was presented the challenge of bringing the existing 16 Teleroute national units under one unique management structure. Teleroute.com was then created to impulse and to coordinate the development of personalised and trans-national applications as well as to develop new services. Mr. Bourgeois was again promoted within the Wolters Kluwer organisation in March 2002 when he was named Area Manager for France, Belgium, Spain and Teleroute.

Raimundo Diaz, 37, joined Teleroute.com in August 2001 as Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer, bringing with him extensive experience in industry, management consulting and financial services gained through positions in London, Milan, Madrid and Paris. In April 2002 he was promoted to Chief Strategy and Product Officer, thereby adding product development responsibilities to his portfolio.

Before joining Teleroute, Mr. Diaz worked for Lafarge Lime as Executive Vice President, South America where he was in charge of the development and subsequent management of acquired companies in Latin America.

“I am pleased to be given this new challenge within the Teleroute organisation,” said Raimundo Diaz. “Our focus remains the road haulage professional and our goal is to find ways to save our customers time, money and effort by creating individualized solutions for posting and consulting freight and/or vehicle offers.”

Raimundo Diaz holds a MBA (Insead) and degrees in Law and Economics.
