Fiona Holdsworth to coordinate operations in the British Isles

July 15, 2002: Teleroute, the leading European freight and vehicle exchange service, today announced the appointment of Fiona Holdsworth as Managing Director of Teleroute United Kingdom and Ireland.
|
|
Fiona, 44, will develop and grow Teleroute operations in the British Isles and will maintain and further develop its competitive position within this market.
|
|
Fiona, a well known figure in the United Kingdom haulage world, has over 15 years experience in general management, sales and marketing within the road transport and hi-tech telecoms sectors. She joins Teleroute from the Road Haulage Association, where she was Director of Sales and Marketing. She has also held senior management positions within Racal Telecom, RAC Motoring Services, International Communications and Data Plc and British Telecom Enterprises.

“Fiona’s experience in sales, marketing and operations in a service environment and her know-how of both the bricks and mortar economy and the new Internet economy will be an asset not only to Teleroute’s customers in Britain, but will also bring benefit on a pan-European level,” said François Bourgeois, CEO, Teleroute and Area Manager, Belgium, France and Spain of Wolters Kluwer’s European cluster. “Her strong expertise in developing and marketing innovative new services will help generate liquidity in both the UK’s national and international exchanges and subsequently increase transport opportunities between the British Isles and Europe’s mainland for our customers on both sides of the Channel.”
